PETRE ABRAHAM SMEU wins the First Prize, New Hope Grand Prix, Romania (2025)
The jury, composed of the directors of all the Philharmonic Orchestras participating as partners in the competition, as well as other prominent figures from Romania's musical scene, has awarded the First Prize, New Hope Grand Prix, Romania (2025), the National Musical Performance Competition of Satu-Mare, Romania, to PETRE ABRAHAM SMEU.
Additionally, within the same competition, violinist Petre Abraham Smeu received both the Special Prize of the State Philharmonic "Dinu Lipatti" and the "Danil Raceu" Special Prize.
The Grand Prize of the NEW HOPE GRAND PRIX 2025 consists of thirteen solo performances as a guest artist with the following orchestras, as part of a concert tour during the 2025–2026 season:
